Dev Home is a desktop client for Windows developers designed to provide a centralized control center to help developers monitor projects, set up development environments, connect developer accounts and tools, and create dedicated storage space. With custom dashboard widgets, it enables developers to monitor workflows, track development projects, coding tasks, Azure DevOps queries, GitHub issues, pull requests, available SSH connections, and the CPU, GPU, memory, and network performance of the system. The Dev Home 0.14 preview update integrates the PowerToys module, as well as the AI-based Quickstart Playground feature.

Steps for Use:

  • Install DevHome: Run the command ‘winget uligrade Microsoft.DevHome’ in Windows Terminal to install or update to the latest version.
